Marlin Avenue Townhomes
Close to downtown Tampa, the developers had a vision of contemporary living inspired by an urban atmosphere, but a small site with four grand trees, had them realizing why the lot had sat vacant for years. When designing the layout, the idea was to promote the views of Tampa Bay and the shaded areas surrounding the site. Tree restrictions made a three story rectangular design feel appropriate on a portion of the site while allowing one unit to be two story with a different footprint. From entering the home, to settling into the living and sleeping areas, every viewing angle was intentionally designed to appreciate either the exterior landscape or the tranquility interior spaces. The building design incorporates metal panel veneer, wood finishes, metal sunshades, open stair towers, and cable railing for a modern style that would still blend neatly on the historic Bayshore Blvd.
