Gannon University Ruskin Campus
In 2014 Gannon University purchased an existing home sales center building in Ruskin, FL to be transformed into first campus outside of their home in Erie, PA. After assisting with the initial phase at the Ruskin Campus, Gannon asked DSA to update the main center space to facilitate faculty offices, conference rooms, meeting areas, student gathering areas, exterior patio spaces and secured building access. The Design Styles Architecture team worked alongside the University to program the remodeled space according to their needs and the student’s needs. The space was fitted with student gathering tables equipped with built-in outlets for laptops and mobile devices. The furniture was chosen to allow easy travel and comfortable seating throughout the main corridor of the center building. All Lighting in the space was updated to energy efficient LED lighting with accompanying stylish fixtures that provided even lighting for study and student engagement.
