STUDENT HOUSING

Student housing projects can be some of the most exciting, yet complex residential project types to undertake. Whether on or off campus, they require a specific set of expertise to be successful. These projects vary widely in size, building type, and configuration. They must be inviting, safe, and must foster a sense of community and interaction that students can appreciate. Our student housing projects have incorporated many of the most desired elements of modern student life. TOWNHOMES

Townhomes are one of DSA’s specialty project types. Since the beginning of the company DSA has worked with many different developers to design attractive, functional, and repeatable designs that fit all income ranges and tastes. The ‘townhome’ or ‘townhouse’ building type comes in many forms, shapes and sizes, but typically includes buildings with multiple attached units with two or more levels. As this product type has gained popularity in recent years, we have designed hundreds of units for developers and gained extremely valuable information on the best practices in multi-unit design. Every design we produce is unique to the client and determined by the needs of the development, so we do not keep plans on file for sale.
