A Chat With...Keira McNeal

We sat down with Keira for a snapshot of what she does on a day to day basis, the why behind her passion for DSA, and a little bit of fun along the way.

Q: What does a typical day look like for you?

A: Most of the time no two days are alike, it is usually some combination of invoicing clients, doing collections, paying bills, doing payroll, dealing with benefit questions, meetings with employees and management for various reasons, interviewing, reviewing, setting up projects…the list is somewhat endless…

Q: What do you most like about your job?

A: Definitely the people! After so many years here, this has become my family. I love the creative atmosphere (even if my part isn’t so creative!), and I love all the personalities and understanding how people tick. People can work anywhere; I do what I do in hopes to help create a place to work that people will want to stay!

Q: What is your favorite project to date?

A: I think my favorite is Oyster Point. I loved how clean and modern the design was, but everything seemed so purposeful and it felt rely warm and inviting!

Q: What is your favorite architectural style?

A: I love Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: I have a busy family life with my husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bunny, and a giant snake. We love music, food, and traveling any chance we get!
