JENNY CALLAHAN

DIRECTOR OF ARCHITECTURE, DSA

We sat down with Jenny for a snapshot of what she does on a day to day basis, the why behind her passion for architecture, and a little bit of fun along the way.

Q: What does a typical day look like for you?

A: A typical day for me can be anything from meeting with a client or prospect, to working through a design with the team.

Q: What do you most like about your job?

A: I love the fact that I get to work with our clients day in and day out, and I get to see their vision from the beginning. I then get to work with the team turn that dream into a reality.

Q: What is your favorite project to date?

A: The Harbor Pointe project. It was a project that had many constraints that made the design challenging and fun. The client was open to unique ideas which made the process gratifying. Being able to see the home coming to fruition after all the hard work from everyone involved made the house into a great home.

Q: What is your favorite architectural style?

A: Farmhouse.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: I enjoy playing soccer and doing home projects.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: “The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.” – Babe Ruth
