We sat down with Grady for a snapshot of what he does on a day to day basis, the why behind his passion for architecture, and a little bit of fun along the way.
Q: What does a typical day look like for you?
A: My job is not only to make sure things get done for our clients, but to make sure they get done on time. It keeps me busy – between site visits, planning and producing plans, and meetings for current projects to facilitating sales for new projects.
Q: What do you most like about your job?
A: I love working closely with clients and seeing their dreams come to life. My favorite part of the process is when I get to see how happy they are with the end result.
Q: What is your favorite project to date?
A: I have two – Oyster Cove and Carolina Circle NE…repeat clients! They are awesome clients to work for and with. The clients always had great attitudes and were fun to work with, and I think that really came through with the end result.
Q: What is your favorite architectural style?
A: Modern and Craftsmen styles are my go-to.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: What don’t I do? I’m an outdoors kind of guy…I love ziplining, golfing, biking, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and most of all playing with my son.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
