We sat down with Craig for a snapshot of what he does on a day to day basis, the why behind his passion for DSA, and a little bit of fun along the way.
Q: What does a typical day look like for you?
A: On a day to day basis, I maintain the IT side of things which includes, helping the team resolve any technical issues, putting out any fires that may arise, and finding new and more efficient ways of operating. During the construction of our Design Center, a lot of my time was consumed with overseeing the project.
Q: What do you most like about your job?
A: I love the variety, every day is a little different, with different challenges. I always learn something new, so it never gets boring. It keeps my interests while providing funds to do my hobbies.
Q: What is your favorite project to date?
A: Brightwaters Boulevard, it was a custom home with some unique features right off Tampa Bay, and it was one of my last custom and most complex projects. But I also have a soft spot for our new Design Center.
Q: What is your favorite architectural style?
A: Any style that looks cool and doesn’t collapse!
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: I like cycling, woodworking, traveling, history, and shooting sports.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “Semper fidelis”– Marine Corps motto, meaning “Always faithful”
