We sat down with Cierra for a snapshot of what she does on a day to day basis, the why behind her passion for architecture, and a little bit of fun along the way.
Q: What does a typical day look like for you?
A: Each day is different depending on the stage of the project I am working on. Towards the beginning stage of a project, I could be 3D modeling different design options, while towards the end I could be drafting structural details. I love the variety of tasks involved in this profession—it is never boring!
Q: What do you most like about your job?
A: I like having the ability to help turn client’s visions for their homes into reality.
Q: What is your favorite architectural style?
A: Modern.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: Since moving to Florida, I have loved exploring the beautiful nature that Florida has to offer. I also love doing small home improvement projects and spending quality time with my husband, son, and two cats.
